I have lupus. Is Rosalique for me?
Lupus is an autoimmune disease that affects many more people than you might think. Many people have never heard of Lupus, and there is still a lot unknown about lupus itself.
It is often difficult to diagnose, and symptoms range from joint and muscle pain, fatigue, fever to hair loss and anemia.
One of the symptoms is called Butterfly Rash. The rash appears as a red or purple butterfly-shaped rash, generally covering the cheeks and bridge of the nose. It is sometimes accompanied by itching and pain.
Quite a few of our customers have let us know that Rosalique definitely helps treat butterfly rash. For example, the lovely Emma Lynn, who actually wrote us a blog about it too!
Finally, we would still recommend doing a patch test on a small area of skin the first time you use it. Rosalique has been tested on sensitive skin and should be fine, but everyone is different and people with lupus are known to have super sensitive skin.
Is Rosalique for people with eczema?
Eczema is an allergic skin disease that still has no cure. However, there is a lot we can do to help our skin become stronger and healthier.
Although Rosalique wasn't originally designed specifically for eczema, it is designed to help with any type of redness and sensitivity. So if you're looking to cover up some of your eczema, Rosalique should really become your go-to product. Rosalique has the ability to cover up redness, and the 5 active ingredients will help with inflammation and irritation, improving the overall health of your skin while you wear it.
Why is Rosalique green?
When you first use Rosalique, don't be surprised to notice that it's green in color!
We use a unique microencapsulated technology. Green microbeads contain skin-coloring pigments that are applied to the skin and broken down to provide an instant concealing effect.
The skin will instantly look more even, less irritated and any signs of redness will be reduced. In addition, the green color that forms the outer layer of the beads further neutralizes skin redness, as green is the ideal neutralizer of the color red.
Is SPF50 enough for all-day protection?
Wearing SPF when you have sensitive or redness-prone skin is extremely important. That's why we've equipped our Rosalique with the best SPF imaginable.
Applying Rosalique in the morning as part of your beauty routine should get you through a dark and cloudy day, although we would prefer you to apply the cream several times throughout the day.
When it's a very sunny, beautiful summer day, it's best to avoid direct sunlight – especially if you're prone to redness.
If you are in the sun, make sure to reapply Rosalique frequently throughout the day, just like your regular moisturizer.
I have oily skin. Is Rosalique for me?
For people with oily skin, make-up and concealer products often only "slip" from the face.
Rosalique is not oily, but if you already have oily skin and find that Rosalique gives you too much of a ‘dewy’ look, a little translucent powder usually works wonders! It can also help to make sure your face is thoroughly cleansed with a gentle face wash (that doesn’t dry out your skin), before using Rosalique.
What kind of skin types and tones is Rosalique for?
Rosalique was created with redness-prone and sensitive skin in mind. Since most of us suffer from some form of redness at some point in our lives, we felt the need to create something light and easy to use to help you achieve great-looking skin every day.
However, over the years of Rosalique's existence, due to the versatile nature of Rosalique, many people and many different skin tones and types have started using Rosalique for a variety of purposes.
We find that people with a range of skin types and concerns use Rosalique, for example redness, rosacea, butterfly rash, acne, eczema or just for those who would like to use a great primer with active ingredients to give them healthy skin.
